Salon Policies

Our Covid-19 Policy
During these unprecedented times we want you to know you can come to blitz Beauty and feel completely safe. We are fully Covid-19 compliant and are following all Government and local council guidelines as well as our own strict health and safety procedure. You can rest assured we are going above and beyond to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.
 

Fortunately, blitz is such a large salon and we have so much space which enables us to completely ensure social distancing at all times, apart from when you are receiving your treatment, and then appropriate PPE is worn at that time.
 

All measures are taken to ensure full sanitisation happens between each client. We do this by booking  15 minutes after each client’s treatment and also staggering appointments.


At the moment we are operating an appointment only basis. We have a strict consultation procedure upon entry to the salon which includes temperature checks, recording of track and trace details, personal belongings aren’t encouraged, however, if you do not have a bag for your keys, mobile etc. they will be placed in a tray then your hands can be sanitised before being taken to the treatment room. This helps further eliminate any risks.


All clients stay in the treatment room (excluding nails) for the duration of the appointment, including making further bookings and paying for the treatment.

Our Products
All of our products are sourced to be the best for you, they are tried and tested and loved firstly by us to enable us to put our hands on our hearts and tell you they will work for you.

 

Our products are non-comedogenic; contain no mineral oils, lanolin, artificial colours or fragrance and no drying S.D. alcohol or formaldehyde. All ingredients are from ecologically safe sources. Nothing is tested on animals.

 

All of our products are available for purchase. To maintain the best results from your treatments at blitz, we recommend that you use our products at home, we are happy to design a homecare routine for you to commit to… just ask.

 

Salon Policies

We respectfully request the following:


For the comfort of all our clients, that Mobile phones are not used in the salon, please put your mobile on to silent or switch it off ……. You and the rest of our clients are here to relax. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and must have signed permission prior to the treatment taking place.

 

Sunbed use is allowed only to clients 18 years of age or over …… this is the law. The salon is neither an appropriate nor safe environment for very young children.

 

Patch tests must be performed 24 hours before treatment where necessary to ensure your safety, please advise us of any allergies at the time of booking.

 

Our Policy on Cancellations and No Shows  
Should you need to cancel or move your treatment, we respectively request that is done at least 24hrs prior to the treatment time. A 50% charge will be made for cancellations or changes to your appointment inside of this time, if we cannot fill your appointment slot. It is not our wish to apply cancellation charges but we do always remain true to the policy to ensure that the business is maintained.

 

We have a very active list of clients waiting for appointment slots especially during peak times; all we want is for all our clients to have the opportunity to have the treatment time that they want.

 

Therefore 24hours notice is essential. We like be kept busy and when we get a late cancellation or a client does not turn up it is not conducive to good business practice.

 

Please be aware that this also includes forgotten appointments and appointments being moved within 24hours. 
 

A courtesy call is available 48 hours before to remind you of your appointment, some of our clients find this useful. We also make the commitment that, if in the unlikely event we have to cancel your appointment for any reason, we will re-book you at your convenience and you will only pay a 50% charge for your treatment…..after all fairs, fair. 

 

Our Points Scheme
Our Points Scheme is our way of saying thank you for your loyalty and continued custom. We will issue 1 point for every £10.00 spent on treatments (not products). Points will not be issued when receiving treatments on offers. When 35 points have been achieved you will be eligible for any 1 treatment up to an hour long. You must inform us at the time of booking that you are intending to use your points and requests for an individual therapist are not valid when points are being used. We reserve the right to remove points from your card if you cancel the appointment within the terms of the cancellation policy. Points are not transferable. You will be issued with your own points card and it is your responsibility to keep it safe and to present it when paying for appointments, it is the only record kept of your points.
